Hello Ciao mailing list,
I'm new to this community but very interested in Ciao. I was wondering if there has been any existing work on using Prolog as a distributed database system like Riak or memcached but with support for powerful logic-based queries.
I see pretty good documentation on persistent predicate databases (backed by either files or SQL databases). Active modules look like they could be used to facilitate communication between nodes in a distributed cluster.
Does anyone know of any work in this area?
Thanks for your time, Eli
