Hi Ciao users,
Just to inform you all, I've made a script to install Ciao in Arch Linux. Arch Linux users now can use 'yaourt -S ciao-bin' to install Ciao. No need to compile, since I took debian package and then convert it into Arch binary package. The URL is: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ciao-bin/
Enjoy!

Dear Bambang,
That is great news! If you agree, we can include the installation instructions for Arch Linux in:
http://ciaohome.org/download_stable.html
Is there any way to update the package once we release new stable versions? Is it possible to include packages for the devel/unstable/experimental version in Arch Linux?
Thanks!

Yes sure please, I agree. The instruction is just "yaourt -S ciao-bin".

I will maintain the package in Arch Linux. I guess the new stable version will always be announced in mailing list, right? as far as I can get the news, I will update the repo.
I will put the devel version into the repo soon this weekend and let you all know.
Regards,

One last question: would you like to appear in the website or documentation as the official maintainer of the Arch Linux packages of Ciao? (if so, please tell us which email or http address do you wish to include for contact information).
