We are sorry about that. Unfortunately, ciaoc -S, which makes a standalone executable by putting together the bytecode interpreter and the bytecode itself in a single file, depends very heavily on the operating system. It relies on sensible but undocumented assumptions of the O.S., and so maintaining it is in general more difficult than other O.S.-dependent. We will check what might be wrong in Mac OS. Any help is, of course, very welcome.
