I forgot, I run NetBSD on an i386 laptop. The development ciao was failing because it wanted a linux86 directory to hold the ciao engine and building for BSDi86 obviously would not do this. I didn't document the problem, and I did not fix what I could with the build system. On that topic, could I suggest #!/usr/bin/env bash for shell setting, since on BSD and other non-SYSV systems, bash is not built to /bin. Thanks.
