I'm trying to install ciao-1.7p194Win32 on Windows 2000. I downloaded and unzipped the file and clicked on "install.bat".
The installation window reports: /c/Program Files/Ciao/ciao-1.7p194Win32 G:\c\Program Files\Ciao\ciao-1.7p194Win32 % chdir in working_directory/2: No such file or directory {Program ended with failure}
Popup: Registry Editor: Cannot import ciao.reg: Error opening the file. THere may be a disk or file system error.
I installed the files on /c, but for some unknown reason, the script tries to write to G:\c, which is the wrong disk. WINNT is on G:, but C: has available disk space, which is why I chose to install on C:.
Any ideas about what's wrong?
I hope this helps, Steve Kelem

Thanks for the report. It obviusly seems like the script is trying to install (wrongly) in the root disk. We'll have a look at that.
Best,
