The Ciao Mac installer currently installs in /opt/local (similarly to other compilers). Uninstallation is done with the Uninstall script that comes with the installer. You can also install and uninstall from source of course. In any case the uninstaller that comes with the installer should not hang of course. Are you installing 1.14 or 1.15? --MH
