Hello, we are using Ciao in the European project ASCENS and I need to interface Ciao with Java. In order to start and to understand how it is possible to do this, I tried to execute example0.pl, which is one of the proposed Java-to-Prolog interface examples. Unfortunately, when I start the example (trying to follow all the instructions of the readme.text file) something doesn't work. In particular, after the execution of the instruction goal.query() of the example0.java program, the execution does not proceed, in the sense that the client seems to wait something. I tried to understand the problem but without results. I am using Mac OS X version 10.8 and the last version of Java.
I would like to ask you if you can kindly help me by giving some suggestions or hints about it.
