I see from the archive that a question was asked three years ago, and another earlier this year, about Ciao Prolog's Tcl interface. No answers are recorded. Does anyone use this interface? How should the examples given be operated? Do they work?
Sorry about answering so late. Yes, the examples work. Did you had any problem with them? You can simply load them from the sources (not from the installed libraries) and start them up. The only point is, in the current distributions, you have to guess the entry point to call. We have changed that in the development version, and each example has now a main/0 entry point, and therefore can be compiled to an executable.
We are right now working hard in fixing minor bugs and producing ciao-1.10; we will very probably put in the web page a release candidate. Everyone is encouraged to try it out and send in bug reports and suggestions. We will do our best to incorporate them in the 1.10 version.
Best regards,
